Today there was a new update for Oddworld: Soulstorm. We will have all the details on this patch on April 28.

The Update 1.08 Oddworld Soulstorm and now available for download, for all platforms. On PS5, the file size is 428MB. The patch includes new features and bugs fixes.

Notes on patch 1.08 by Oddworld Soulstorm | April 28

New features:

  • Players can now spin off the main HUD UI in the settings
  • Players can now spin off badge alerts in the settings

Level specific bug fixes:

  • Multiple fixes for out of world jumps in certain levels
  • Potential progression blockers fixed in Slig brewery and barracks
  • The moving Royal jelly fixed at the end of CD Yards
  • Motion detectors fixed in Necrum
  • Sorrow Valley Flying Slig Explosions fixed
  • Corrections for Sanctum respawn issues
  • Solve for the train is not at the end of Phat Station in certain situations
  • Missing Bird of Sorrow Valley portal fix
  • Rockaw audio fix in Necrum
  • cabinets fixed in The ruins
  • fix for closed lattice door
  • fix for the airship in the level of the airship is visible in Some circumstances
  • further fix for incorrect Mudokon count in The ruins
  • the lever in the Flying Slig section in Sorrow Valley now opens the electric gate, eliminating the requirement to kill all six Sligs first

Abe bug fixes:
