Oil prices continue to fall

Oil prices continued to decline today, Thursday, after oil prices fell yesterday to their lowest level in six months during the last session after the release of US oil inventories data.

By 09:20 Moscow time, futures for US West Texas Intermediate oil fell 0.30% to $90.39 per barrel, and futures for Brent crude fell 0.41% to $96.38 per barrel.

Oil prices fell about 4% yesterday after a sudden surge in U.S. crude inventories as data showed a rise in crude inventories there of 4.5 million barrels in the week ended July 29 last year, contrary to expectations.
