Oil prices fall ahead of the meeting "OPEC+"

Oil prices fell on Wednesday ahead of the results of the OPEC+ meeting to be held today, and markets are waiting for a report on US inventories amid fears of a slowdown in demand.

By 11:57 Moscow time, futures for US West Texas Intermediate oil fell 1.14% to $93.19 per barrel.

Meanwhile, Brent futures fell 1.37% to $99.16 a barrel, according to Bloomberg.

Markets expect the OPEC+ group to keep production levels flat through September 2022 or make modest increases due to weak demand expectations and fears of an economic recession.
