Oil prices rose on optimism about a recovery in demand from China

Oil prices rose in trading today, Thursday, in light of signs of a limited supply of crude oil and optimism about a recovery in demand for black gold from China.

By 08:19 Moscow time, futures for Brent crude rose 6 cents to $87.04 per barrel.

Futures for US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 19 cents to $80.73 a barrel, according to the data.
