Oil prices rose to $100 a barrel

Oil prices continued to rise on Tuesday evening amid fears of a reduction in supplies from Saudi Arabia and higher gas prices in Europe.

By 20:51 Moscow time, Brent oil futures for October rose by $3.59 by 3.72% to $100.07 per barrel on the London Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, futures for US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 3.50% to $93.86 a barrel, according to trading data on the New York Stock Exchange.

Yesterday, Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said in an interview with Bloomberg that the OPEC+ group has funds under the cooperation declaration mechanisms that allow it to meet challenges, including the possibility of cutting production at any time and in different ways.
