On behalf of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Minister of Foreign Affairs attends the inauguration ceremony of the President of Somalia

On behalf of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended today the inauguration ceremony of Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, in a ceremony held at Adam Uday International Airport in the capital, Mogadishu.

He met His Excellency the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who gave him the congratulations and greetings of the Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense – may God protect them – to His Excellency wishing him success and prosperity, and Somalia and its people further progress and prosperity. His Excellency expressed his greetings and appreciation of him to the Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques, his Highness the Crown Prince, and to the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed to His Excellency the Kingdom’s aspiration to continue working to strengthen fraternal and friendly relations between the two countries and fraternal peoples, and to work together to strengthen them and push them towards wider horizons.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques in Somalia, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mawlid, and the Director General of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
