Starz’s Outlander series might be the most well-known adaptation of Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series of historical fantasy books. The main character of the series is Claire Randall, a British nurse from the 20th century who goes back in time to 18th-century Scotland and falls in love with the handsome Highland warrior Jamie Fraser. The show started in August 2014 and has had six successful seasons, each based on a different book in the series. In 2022, it was also confirmed that Outlander: Blood of My Blood, a prequel show about Jamie Fraser’s parents, Brian and Ellen Fraser, would have a first season with ten episodes. In the middle of all this, Outlander fans eagerly await the seventh season, which will start in March 2021.
