Ozark is returning to Netflix for season 4, with a supersized and, sadly, final season. We’ve already got a bunch of information surrounding the fourth season, including new cast members and what we can expect. Here’s the latest on what we know so far about season 4 of Netflix’s Ozark.

Even though it’s been compared to Breaking Bad since its debut on Netflix in the summer of 2017, it’s still one of the best shows on the streaming service. It has racked up 32 Emmy nominations, making it a major awards contender. In March of 2020, the most recent season of Stranger Things premiered on Netflix.
Ozark: Season 4 – Is there a trailer yet?
Netflix confirmed Ozark’s return for a fourth and final season in June of 2020.
This season will be Ozark’s final one, but Netflix social media platforms confirmed that it would be split into two halves. Season 4 will have a total of fourteen episodes, with each half consisting of seven episodes.
What is Ozark Season 4 Release Date
It’s possible that Ozark may return sooner than previously thought based on the release dates of previous seasons, which have averaged about 19 months between seasons.
Between November 2020 and October 2021, the entire fourth season was shot in blocks spanning eleven months. We strongly suspect that the final batch of episodes is currently being edited, and it won’t be long before all of them have been finished.
In a trailer posted to YouTube, Netflix announced that Ozark’s final season would be available on the streaming service on Friday, April 29th, 2022.
What Is The Ozark Season 4 Plot?
Season three of Ozark was explosive, leaving us with a lot to think about for season four.
Ruth’s betrayal of the Byrdes was finally shattered after Ben’s untimely death. The Snell poppy farm is where Ruth, like her cousin Wyatt, has chosen to distance herself from the family. Darlene has offered Ruth a job running the day-to-day production to ensure that the heroin manufactured on-site is delivered to the Kansas City mob.
Aside from herself, the Byrdes also need to know that Ruth is not a person to be trifled with. Darlene admires the Langmore matriarch’s intelligence and ruthlessness.
This season, “Ruth” wants “that independence back” that she had before the Byrdes arrived, according to Julia Garner.
Frank Jr.’s actions are unlikely to have any repercussions because Darlene and Frank Sr. worked out a multimillion-dollar deal for the KC mob with Frank Sr.
Despite their animosity toward one another, the KC mob and the Byrde’s operation in Lake Ozark will be even more explosive next season now that Darlene has joined forces with the cartel.
