Pakistani police have eliminated six armed terrorist elements during an operation conducted in the “Laki Marwat” district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan. A statement released today by the police says that the Counter Terrorism Unit has raided in a terrorist site based on intelligence information , and was attacked by terrorists in that site, which led to a firefight between the two sides, in which the security forces managed to eliminate six terrorists.
He added that inarea A large sweeping operation has been launched to search for any other terrorist elements linked to the eliminated terrorists.
The ‘Let Me Marute’ organization has witnessed a series of terrorist acts, the most notable of which was an attack on the police force last November which killed six policemen.
