Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Bennett’s statements an official Israeli acknowledgment of the attack on Al-Aqsa

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned what Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett tweeted about the Temple Mount and considered it an official Israeli acknowledgment of targeting the blessed Al-Aqsa mosque, its courtyards and Islamic endowments, and a denial of what more than one Israeli official said about the occupation state’s enthusiasm for the status quo in the Al-Aqsa mosque and their misleading campaigns regarding the lack of Change this Situation.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali had stated that all decisions regarding Haram al-Sharif and Jerusalem are made by the government of Israel without worrying about any external accounts.

The ministry confirmed, in a declaration today, that Bennett’s declarations are racist and colonial par excellence, and an official Israeli insistence on the escalation of the aggression against Jerusalem and its sanctities, first of all the Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the aim of perpetuating its division on the path to spatially divide it as an integral part of the occupation state’s attempts to Judaize Jerusalem and impose Israeli sovereignty over it. It is also a flagrant violation of international law, the Geneva Conventions and signed agreements, emphasizing that it is valid and illegitimate and will lead to further explosions, escalations and fires in the conflict arena.

And he felt that these Israeli positions challenge international positions that require the maintenance of the historical and legal status quo in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
