The Texans are hoping to retain the AFC South head only as they host the Patriots in a playoff soccer battle on Sunday Football Sunday in Week 13.
After the Titans beat the Colts on Sunday afternoon, Houston enters the matchup against New England with just half a game in Tennessee. The Texans and Titans play twice in the last three weeks of the season in what will be a competitive division race.

The Patriots, meanwhile, sit comfortably atop the AFC East rankings, but a loss could lead New England to fall from the first seed in the playoffs. Baltimore, which defeated New England in November, have deceived eight consecutive wins to keep up with key Super Bowl champions.
As of Sunday, the Texans will have to protect Deshaun Watson from New England’s defense leading the league in points allowed (10.6 points per game) and is sixth in shots (27.1%). Despite Watson’s strong game this season, Houston’s offensive line ranks 23rd in sacks (8.3%). If Watson can be deployed against intimidating patriotic defenses, the Texans could put together a statement victory.
