Piers Morgan, 56, hasn’t forgotten his wish to finally sit down with the most in demand public figure, Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Following Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer’s appearance on his hit ITV programme Life Stories on Tuesday evening, the politician took the opportunity to bash the PM and tell him to “move over”.
Whenever you’re ready Prime Minister…
When asked what he would say to the Prime Minister, he replied: “Move over! Move over, we’re coming.”
Further probed on what he would do if he met him on a football pitch, he said: “I would probably knock him over.”
Featuring the Labour politician on the show got tongues wagging, and Piers wanted to make it clear he’s still looking to book Mr Johnson in for a good old grilling – what with the infamous Good Morning Britain boycott that took place last year.
Taking to Twitter after the insightful episode had aired, the presenter told his 7.9million followers: “To those asking, yes I would love to interview @BorisJohnson – for Life Stories or any other show.

“Known him 30yrs, respect his many electoral successes, but don’t respect him running into fridges to avoid accountability.”
He added, cheekily: “Whenever you’re ready Prime Minister…”
Fans rushed to the comments section to share their views on what would possibly be one of the most highly-anticipated interviews for the UK.
One wrote diplomatically: “Piers, that was you at your best and I would love to see Boris Johnson on there. I think anyone who wants to run this country should have to open up about their lives (warts & all).”

A second joked: “You’ll need longer than a hour with that one.”
“Glad you respect him others don’t!” a third praised.
A fourth noted: “I would watch that interview.”
Others, however, believed Piers was rambling again, with one retorting: “The PM is accountable to the public at the ballot box. He’s not accountable to you.”

Another criticised his interview with the Labour leader, saying: “You didn’t exactly hold @Keir_Starmer to account! As a fan of the show found this one particularly boring!”
In the past, the outspoken presenter has found fault with many other TV stars for their “feeble” interviewing of the PM during times where the nation needed answers, one being his nemesis Dan Walker.
