Pokemon Company Releases American Psycho-Inspired Video with Pokemon Puppets

The Pokemon Company Releases a Hilarious Video with Pokemon Puppets

The Pokemon Company recently shared a fun and unique video on their social channels. In this video, they recreate a scene from the horror film American Psycho using Pokemon puppets.

The video features three Pokemon puppets: Mashtromp, Slowpoke, and Quagsire. Just like in the movie, these characters engage in a humorous exchange by comparing business cards.

Instead of regular business cards, the Pokemon puppets are seen comparing three versions of the new “Larry” Pokemon card. It’s a sneak peek from the upcoming set Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Paradox Rift.

While some fans were surprised by the crossover between the traditionally family-friendly Pokemon brand and a horror film, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Many fans took to social media to share their excitement.

One TikTok user wrote, “Pokemon making an American psycho reference is funny af.”

Another user expressed their surprise, saying, “This is on Pokemon’s *official* TikTok. That is insane lol.”

Exciting Releases Coming Soon!

Fans of the Pokemon Trading Card Game have something to look forward to! The next set of Pokemon cards, called Paradox Rift, will be released in November.

This new set will introduce Ancient and Future cards that reference the Paradox Pokemon found in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Additionally, there’s exciting news for the future. It has been confirmed that in 2024, the Pokémon Trading Card Game will reintroduce Ace Spec cards. These unique trainer cards were first introduced in 2011 and were known for their incredible power. They could only be used once per game, making them highly sought after by players.
