Bug Fixes

1. Inkay Leveling Bug

  • If the player used items to level up an Inkay to Lv. 29 or lower, a bug caused the game to stop responding to button input. This issue has now been resolved, allowing players to level up their Inkays without encountering any problems.

2. TM223 Crafting Material Issue

  • Previously, some materials required to craft TM223 (Metal Sound) were only dropped by a specific Pokémon that appeared in one version of the game. This caused inconvenience for players who did not have access to that particular version. However, this issue has now been fixed, addressing the discrepancy. Players can now gather the necessary materials from various sources, ensuring fair accessibility for all.

3. Shieldon Claws No Longer Required

  • Shieldon Claws were mistakenly listed as a requirement for crafting TM223 (Metal Sound). However, this was an error and has been corrected in this update. Players will no longer need Shieldon Claws to craft TM223, making the crafting process more streamlined and accurate.

4. Item Printer Issue

  • Players who installed the Item Printer in the League Club Room previously encountered a bug that caused them to get stuck between the Item Printer and the wall. Under certain circumstances, this could create a frustrating situation where players were unable to progress. Thankfully, this bug has been fixed in this update. Players who were affected by this issue can now get unstuck by speaking to the character next to the Item Printer and selecting the option “I want to print something!”

5. Dragon Cheer Critical Hit Bug

  • A bug in the game caused a Pokémon under the effects of Dragon Cheer to retain its heightened chance of landing critical hits even after being switched out of battle and then reentering the same battle. This gave players an unintended advantage and disrupted the balance of battles. However, this bug has been addressed in this update, ensuring that the effects of Dragon Cheer are not carried over when a Pokémon is switched in and out of battle.

6. Calyrex Moveset Bug

  • Calyrex had a glitch that allowed it to learn certain moves via TM only when united with Glastrier or Spectrier. However, even after separating from Glastrier or Spectrier, Calyrex retained these moves in its move set. Additionally, Calyrex could remember these moves even if they were forgotten without being united with Glastrier or Spectrier. This bug has now been fixed, restoring Calyrex’s moveset to its intended state and ensuring a balanced experience for players.

Other Bug Fixes

  • In addition to the ones mentioned above, the developers have implemented various other bug fixes to enhance the overall gameplay experience. These fixes address minor issues and improve the game’s stability and performance.

Overall, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Update 3.0.1 brings several important bug fixes that address various gameplay issues. Players can now enjoy a smoother and more balanced experience, free from these previously unwanted bugs and glitches. The developers have taken these issues seriously and worked diligently to resolve them, ensuring that players can fully immerse themselves in the game without any hindrances.
