Pokemon Unite update news
Pokemon Unite has only been available for a week but the development team behind the new MOBA are already releasing new content.
Arriving this week as part of a new update, the Pokemon Unite Gardevoir release date has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
We don’t have an exact time for when to expect the new content to go live but based on the previous launch pattern, we could see the patch arrive around 8am BST.
That remains a prediction for now and it will be up to the Pokemon Company to provide more information as required.
Gardevoir arrives this week as part of the first season of the Nintendo Switch game, which is called Welcome to Aeos Island.
Fans will already know this but the game is currently available from the Nintendo eShop at no cost, and if you download by August 31, 2021, you’ll receive Zeraora’s Unite license to help you on your quest to victory.
Zeraora is among the best Pokemon available in Pokemon Unite right now and comes with some top items.
This includes equipping Muscle Band to increase attack power, Scope Lens, to increase critical hit damage, and the Float Stone to increase movement speed and attack power.
Fluffy Tail is also a widely used Battle Item as it increases damage and can briefly paralyze the enemy.
And by battling during the first season of Pokémon UNITE, you’ll find essential items that will help you achieve success in future battles.
Battling frequently also raises your battle pass level, which is another way to obtain new items, and when you upgrade your battle pass, you receive additional rewards like rare Holowear.
It’s unclear right now where Gardevoir will land in the best Pokemon rankings but there’s a good chance that it will have a strong starting spot.
We do know that Gardevoir will be a ranged attacker, meaning it could create some competition with Cinderace.
Pokemon Unite takes place on Aeos Island, a mythical location on the ocean’s unexplored frontier.
On Aeos Island, players will find the Unite Battle Committee (UBC), which runs a series of Unite Battle tournaments.
And in Unite Battles, players form teams of five and compete against each other to see who can score the most points before time runs out.
Bringing the traditional PC gameplay to the Nintendo Switch is not without its challenges, but it looks like plenty of fans are ready to test out the new formula.
More Pokemon will be added to Unite over the coming months, with Blastoise expected to be available before the game arrives on other platforms.
As of right now, the Pokemon Company is planning on launching Pokemon Unite on Mobile Phones in September 2021.
And more news on the port is expected to be shared over the coming weeks.
