Today, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, made a phone call with His Excellency Michael Martin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense of the Republic of Ireland.

During the call, His Highness appreciated Ireland’s support for the United Nations resolution issued on Friday (October 27, 2023 AD), which aims to achieve an immediate ceasefire and establish an urgent humanitarian truce in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Discussion on the Situation in the Gaza Strip

The two ministers also discussed developments in the dangerous situation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings. His Highness stressed the importance of the international community having a clear position on these developments, working to achieve an immediate ceasefire, and pushing all efforts towards stopping bloodshed, protecting defenseless civilians, and preventing the worsening of the humanitarian crisis.
