The Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Football League will resume next Saturday after stopping in the last period for the participation of the Saudi national team in the first and second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, which Al-Akhdar leads on an equal footing with Australia for getting 6 points in two wins.
The league competition will return with Balqai Damak and Al-Faisaly at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Mahalla in Abha, while Al-Ittihad will host its counterpart at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
The clashes of the round will continue next Sunday with four matches: (Al-Ittifaq – Al-Raed), (Al-Batin – Al-Fateh), (Al-Taawun – Al-Ahly), (Al-Shabab – Al-Hazm) , while my matches: (Al-Fayhaa – Al-Hilal), (Al-Tai – Al-Nasr) have been postponed by these.The tour will be held on Tuesday 28 September, for the participation of Al Hilal and Al Nasr in the 16th Round of the AFC Champions League, where Al Hilal will face his Iranian counterpart Istiklal next Monday (13 September) at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Al Nasr will meet the Iranian Traktor (14 September) at the Jassim bin Hamad stadium in the capital of Qatar, Doha.
Al-Fayhaa leads the overall standings of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Football League with 7 points, with a goal difference from Al-Hilal, the “title holder”, and Al-Nasr is third with 6 points, with a goal difference from Al-Ittihad “fourth”, and Al-Raed “fifth”.
The third round of the competition saw (5 wins and 3 draws), which are: Al-Raed beat Al-Hazm 2-0, Al-Ahly and Damak drew 1-1, Al-Fateh beat Al-Shabab 2 -0, Abha and Al-Ettifaq drew 1-1, and Al-Nasr on Al-Taawon 3-1, Al-Faisaly lost 1-2 to Al-Ittihad, Al-Tai lost 1-3 to Al- Fayhaa and Al-Hilal and Al-Batin drew 0-0.
