Unlike Microsoft, Sony like clockwork reveals its next selection of free PS4 and PS5 games at a set point in the month.

The PS Plus reveal usually happens on the final Wednesday of the month at 4.30pm UK time.

So the official August 2021 PS Plus line-up reveal looks set to take place at 4.30pm BST on Wednesday July 28.

However, in the run-up to the official PS Plus reveal it looks like the August line-up has leaked early.

Over the weekend the official PlayStation website appeared to announce the August 2021 PS Plus line-up early.

We had already found out that Hunter’s Arena Legends would be the free PS5 game for PS Plus members in August.

This announcement came in the last State of Play, with all that was left to announce was the free PS4 games.

And it looks like PS Plus subscribers have found out the inbound free games for the PlayStation 4.

It’s emerged the free PS4 games for the PS Plus August 2021 line-up are Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville and Tennis World Tour 2.

These new PS Plus games will be available to download from Tuesday August 3.

The upcoming release of a new PS Plus line-up means time is also running out to download games from the current line-up.

Next week Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds for the PS4 as well as A Plague Tale: Innocence for the PS5 will be departing PS Plus.

These games were included in the July 2021 PS Plus line-up.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown – which previously was added to PS Plus – will also stop being a free PlayStation Plus game next week.

If you’ve had your head turned by the great selection of PS Plus free games, and either are looking to sign up for the first time or extend your subscription, then CDKeys has a great deal for you.
