EE and Argos could be getting more PS5 stock to buy this week
PS5 STOCK – UPDATE ONE: The PlayStation 5 became available to buy once again today (Tuesday September 28) in the UK.
EE customers were able to purchase a PS5 on the mobile operator’s website via the Add to Plan scheme – which lets you spread out the cost of a wide selection of tech by paying it off in monthly installments.
These payments are added onto the monthly cost of your regular EE plan.
If you missed out on the recent EE PS5 restock. which went live at 8.30am, then the good news is the PS5 could become available to buy in the UK again very soon.
Both GAME and Argos are tipped to be getting more PS5 stock to buy in the coming days.
Argos is expected to be opening orders for the PS5 once again between Tuesday September 28 and Friday October 1.
While GAME is rumoured to be taking orders for the PlayStation 5 again on Thursday September 30.
That’s according to the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account who tweeted: “PlayStation 5 (GAME) Exclusive News.
“The PlayStation 5 Disc & Digital Edition consoles (+bundles) have been given the green light within GAME, planned to drop on Thursday 30th September. This is the final date, no more changes are expected. Should be a 9am-11:30am drop. #PS5”,

Leading mobile operator EE could be taking orders for the PS5 once again on Tuesday September 28.
This is according to the reliable @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account, who also said more Argos stock could become available to buy on the same day.
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: “PlayStation 5 (EE) News.
“If you’re an eligible Pay Monthly customer, you can get the PS5 interest-free over 11 months with EE from 8:30am tomorrow, 28 September.”
While the account also tweeted: “PlayStation 5 (Argos) Exclusive News.
“Most of the Argos console distributions have been made, which means the company is ready to go live with PS5 consoles this week, any day between 28th September to 1st October.
“Only Disc Edition shipments have come in however, Argos will be selling Digital Editions that some stores have kept behind from the previous restock. Though keep in mind that the Digital Edition will not be as widely available as the Disc Edition.”
If you’re hoping to buy a PS5 this week then the rumoured Argos restock could be one of your best bets.
That’s because you’ll have to tick certain boxes to be able to order a PS5 from EE.
You need to be an existing EE customer to order a PS5, so you won’t be able to rush out and sign a contract for the first time to try and bag a console.
Not only that, but you’ll need to be on a pay monthly handset plan and within the first 17 months of your contract.
So if you’re on a SIM-only deal with EE, or towards the tail end of your handset contract, you’ll miss out as well.
If you are eligible, you’ll be able to head to the EE Shop and – if you manage to beat the queues tomorrow – spread out the cost of purchasing a PS5 by adding it to your existing plan.
EE and Argos could get PS5 restocks on Tuesday September 28
A PS5 Disc Edition console will cost £40 a month for 11 months when purchasing it via EE.
Apart from EE and Argos, high street retailer GAME is also tipped to be getting another PS5 restock this week.
It’s believed the GAME website will open up orders again for the PS5 just in time for the upcoming FIFA 22 release date.
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: “PlayStation 5 (GAME) Exclusive News
“The GAME drop supposedly taking place this week was a ‘simple miscommunication’ by the company internally.
“New restock dates are predicted to be 28th-30th September.”
The account later went on to add: “PlayStation 5 (GAME) News.
“The dates have been updated on the GAME bundles page after our previous news. Priority deliveries will be shipped by 7th October, with all other delivery methods by 11th October. Restock is expected on 1st October with FIFA 22 bundles.”
