Rainbow Six Siege Creative Director Says Game Can Last Forever Without Sequel 2024

At the Siege Invitational 2024 in Brazil, Rainbow Six Siege’s creative director, Alexander Karpazis, shared his belief that the game can continue indefinitely without the need for a sequel. Unlike some games that have struggled with sequels, Karpazis emphasized the importance of building upon the foundation of Siege rather than starting from scratch.

Karpazis cited the challenges faced by games like Overwatch 2 when trying to recreate what made the original game successful. Instead, he highlighted the benefits of consistently improving and evolving the existing game to meet the needs of its competitive player base.

With the right team, tools, and dedication, Karpazis expressed confidence in the longevity of Rainbow Six Siege, stating, “We really do know that this is a game that can last forever with the people and the talent and the tools that we have today.”
