Rangnick suffers United’s first defeat against Wolverhampton

Manchester: Manchester United suffered their first defeat under interim manager Ralf Rangnick to host Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 in the English Premier League on Monday. And in the 82nd minute, Joao Moutinho gave Wolverhampton their first win at Old Trafford since 1980, taking them to eighth place. United, who cannot complain too much about the result after a poor performance, remain in seventh place with 31 points, four points behind Arsenal, fourth in ranking, which qualifies for the Champions League. Wolves created plenty of chances in the first half but waited until eight minutes before the end to win with Moutinho’s goal, who used a Phil Jones header to hit David de Gea’s net. (Reuters)
