Reacher was successfully released on Prime Video in February 2022. Fans of the show were happy to hear that Prime Video had almost quickly renewed the show for a second season. The cast of this show is great, the material is good, there is a lot of action, and the story is interesting. The second season will be more of the same, and since there are still a lot of books to come, we should get to see Alan Ritchson more.

What is the Release Date of Reacher’s Season 2?
Beginning on December 15, 2023, Prime Video will show the first three episodes of Season 2 of Reacher. Every Friday, Prime Video will show the last five episodes. On January 19, 2024, the finale will be available.
In July 2023, Prime Video put out a “sizzle reel” that showed the new season of Reacher would be out in December 2023. Reacher Season 2 will only be available on Prime Video in all areas, just like the first season. Lee Child’s books can now be read all over the world on a single platform, so you don’t have to use a VPN or look for another viewing service like you do with many other shows. Steve Weintraub of Collider talked to Vernon Sanders, who was the Head of Television at Amazon Studios, in December 2022. Sanders told Weintraub that Season 2 would start sometime in 2023.
“It’s going really well. Alan is back, and he is so fantastic in the role. I’m so proud of the producers [for] finding that fit for Reacher. The Reacher fans of the book, their reaction to the show has just been a dream. Season 2 is awesome. And as great as season one was, I think season two delivers beyond that, and I do think there’s a good chance that that show will be back next year.”

What Is Reache Plot?
The official plot synopsis for Reacher Season 2 reads:
Reacher Season Two begins when veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) receives a coded message that the members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, are being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one. Pulled from his drifter lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates turned chosen family to investigate, including Frances Neagley (Maria Sten); Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), a forensic accountant for whom Reacher has long had a soft spot; and fast-talking, switchblade-wielding family man David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos). Together, they begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher at every turn, and that brings about questions of who has betrayed them—and who will die next. Using his inimitable blend of smarts and size, Reacher will stop at nothing to uncover the truth and protect the members of his unit. If there’s one thing Reacher and his team know for certain, it’s that you do not mess with the Special Investigators. This season, get ready for Reacher and the 110th to hit back hard.
The eleventh Jack Reacher book, Bad Luck and Trouble is what this season of Reacher is based on. Yes, this skips 10 books between the first and second seasons of the TV show, which makes a book fan like me a little uncomfortable. Regardless, it looks like the eleventh book is a great choice for good sources.
