“Reassured” services provided to Egyptian pilgrims by the Egyptian Ministry of Health mission before leaving the Kingdom

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced that 21,440 medical services had been provided to visitors to the Egyptian Medical Mission for Hajj clinics up to last Wednesday evening, including frequent visits for patients with blood pressure, diabetes and bone pain. that they need follow-up periodic, between detection and treatment free of charge.

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, an official spokesperson for the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, indicated that the total hospitalization of Egyptian pilgrims was 31 cases, of which 24 were discharged after receiving treatment and their conditions improved, leading to the total of cases detained in hospitals until last night only 7 cases.

Abdel Ghaffar pointed out that all Egyptian pilgrims held in Saudi hospitals are in stable conditions, their health conditions are monitored, they are visited several times a day and cases that have been discharged after recovery are followed, in addition to follow-up periodical of the five pilgrims receiving dialysis sessions.

For his part, Dr. Amr Kandil, head of the Egyptian preventive medicine sector and head of the Egyptian medical mission for Hajj, reiterated his statement that all Egyptian pilgrims are safe from any infectious disease and that there is full cooperation and coordination with all hospitals and the Saudi health authorities.

And “Kandil” added that the medical mission teams continue their periodic passage to the residences of Egyptian pilgrims, mosques, meeting places and departure buses to raise awareness on preventive measures and define the dates and places to provide the my service “insured” and “with you until you arrive in safety ”, and underlining the need for self-isolation for five days, social distancing and the use of masks to protect themselves and their families from disease.

“Kandil” explained that the preventive teams of the medical mission have provided awareness of preventive measures through seminars in which 33,363 pilgrims participated, adding that the number of beneficiaries of the “Reassured” service has reached 214 pilgrims, from those who have left the Holy Land, until last night, stressing that all the results of the test of pilgrims tested negative for Corona virus.
