Released the patch 1.13 of Oddworld Soulstorm – Bug Fixes on June 4th

Oddworld Soulstorm Update 1.13

Level specific bug fixes:

  • Correction for by mistakenly generating the role-playing game Slig in Construction sites that end the descent
  • Correction for Mudokon teleporting to a small lift in Escape
  • Correction for to be able to see fire through a platform in Hijack
  • Correct a ensure Quarma for each level is set correctly

Abe bug fixes:

  • Abe’s backward improvements walk when aiming stealthily
  • Improvements to haptic feedback on PlayStation 5 in all the game
  • Players can now change theirs throw distance when using a mouse on PC by adjusting the aim distance or using the wheel
  • Abe no more auto- crouches when you push against one pound
  • Abe no longer dies by touching an inactive hammer
  • Abe will no longer be electrocuted on respawn after being hoed
  • Improvements to the possession globe controls
  • Abe will now be properly crushed under a slamdoor when an NPC pulled the lever of that door
  • Abe now properly animates when unlocking a locked cabinet

AI / NPC bug fixes:

  • Corrections to Sligs randomly appears to be frozen in Eye of the cyclone
  • Sligs no longer have a delayed reaction to bouncy rock candy
  • Sligs will now correctly raise the Alert Level when hit with a non-lethal item
  • Sligs no longer fire through possessed Sligs if they are too close to a edge
  • Mudokon hats no longer pop up off when the sludge is told to wait and then follow
  • Mudokons no longer chat when killed
  • The Slig in The ruins now continue fire on the Mudokons after waking up from being knocked out
  • Sick sludge no longer gets sick again if Abe gets well before he talks to them
  • Mudokon no more throw inside distance to Sligs away in Feeco deposit
  • Mudokons now correctly react to closing slam doors
  • The Mudokons never stop following Abe for a short second when he double jump
  • Dead Slogs no longer distort their shirts when they come hit

Other fixes:

  • Royal jelly effects now properly persist after a checkpoint
  • Mines now reset their spinning components after a checkpoint
  • GameSpeak control settings improvements on PC
  • The PlayStation 5 light the bar will now be on by default for new players
  • Texture resolution improvements on PlayStation 4
  • Further fixes behind closed doors not visible and closed (especially in Barracks Slig)
  • Mortar shells (in Blimp and Sorrow Valley) were adjusted for difficulty and now they land exactly where Abe would have been when they were fired, making them more predictable and avoidable
  • Improvements to subtitles
  • Voiceover improvements in the final fight
  • Crate items will no longer fall through the floor after Abe’s rebirth in the airship
  • Gameplay Master Trophy fixes
  • Added master volume to audio settings
  • Improvements to Greeter audio
  • Welding guns now respect “Reduce Strobing” accessibility option
  • Additions to credits
  • Clouds of smoke (for example, from steam or smoke grills) have reduced highlights when they take light from the shots of Slig
  • Fixed some pickups not being present after a respawn in The Funicular
