Restrict work to the Saudis in these professions, starting on Sunday

Tomorrow, Sunday (May 8, 2022) will enter the decision of the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources, which provides for the limitation of work to Saudis in the following professions: secretariat, translator, warehouse worker and data entry, in various regions of the Kingdom.

This happens in implementation of a decision issued last October to limit work in these professions in private sector establishments to the Saudis, setting a minimum wage for translators and stock custodians of 5,000 riyals.

This decision will provide 20,000 jobs for male and female citizens and comes as a continuation of the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources efforts to provide an appropriate and stimulating work environment for male and female citizens and to expand their participation in the labor market.
