The sweater had slipped revealing Katie’s underwear and the Internet exploded! It was one of the best involuntary marketing campaigns a company could have asked for. The Scarlett and Eda Bralette Cardigan sold out quickly and Khaite took Wednesday to thank Katie and wish her a happy birthday.
The viral photo was a fortuitous event that happened spontaneously. Katie’s gray sweater was amazing with the fuzzy background behind her which consisted of the same tones and hues as those presented in her outfit. Katie didn’t have a drop of fat on her body and as she reached out to hail the taxi, her sweater opened and you could see the cashmere bra underneath.
