Robbie Williams’ father Pete, 72, was rushed to hospital after breaking his spine in a fall. He shared a photo on Twitter of himself in the back of an ambulance with paramedics, and wrote that he had “had better days” due to his Parkinson’s diagnosis. Many of his friends, including Rachel Shenton, Tony Jeffries, Dean Andrews, and Jazmin Sawyers, sent their well-wishes in the comments. Robbie has previously opened up about his father’s battle with Parkinson’s, and said that his mother-in-law also has a “very big illness”. Pete is a professional singer himself, and Robbie said he was inspired to follow in his father’s footsteps when he was just 10 years old. Throughout Robbie’s career, Pete has often come on tour with him and they have sung together.
