Rohit Sharma gives it back to Rishabh Pant while the wicketkeeper teases him while taking the COVID-19 test

With coronavirus cases in the country rising again, the administration is taking all measures to ensure the safety of players. Players are regularly tested as they are constantly exposed to the invisible virus to keep the games free from the disease.

The Indian cricketers recently went through another round of the COVID-19 test at their team hotel in Pune. On Wednesday (March 24), Pant grabbed his Instagram grip, where his teammate Rohit Sharma took the test. While the video looks uneventful, Pant made it look funny.

As Pant approached the older Mumbai cricketer, he asked, “Kaise ho bhaiya (how are you brother?)”

In an accurate answer to Pant, Rohit didn’t say a word, but raised his middle finger to his teammate. The wicketkeeper batsman shared the video through his Instagram story, and the clip was soon shared by fans on Twitter and went viral. The funny video leaves fans in divisions.

Pant missed the first ODI against England when the team management assigned the role of wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul in the opening game. Rahul did the job pretty well for the team when he popped a rapid fire of fifty to help his team put a decent sum on the board. It was Rahul’s stand of the century with debutant Krunal Pandya who helped the hosts cross the 300-run mark after first being used.

While Pant may make a comeback in the ODI roster in the second game, his teammate Shreyas Iyer was banned from the series due to a shoulder injury sustained during the first ODI.
