The president of the camera low of the Russian parliament (the Duma) accused Washington, on Saturday, of coordinating military operations in Ukraine, in what he described as equivalent to direct US interference in military operations against Russia.
“Washington is mainly coordinating and developing military operations and thus participating directly in military operations against our country,” Vyacheslav Volodin said on his Telegram channel, according to the “Reuters” news agency.
Washington and European NATO members have supplied Kyiv with heavy weapons to help it resist the Russian offensive, which led to the occupation of areas of eastern and southern Ukraine but failed to control Kyiv.
But the United States and its NATO allies have repeatedly stated that they will not take part in the fighting to avoid becoming a party to the conflict.
US officials said the US provided intelligence information to Ukraine to help counter the Russian attack, but denied that this information contained accurate targeting data.
