Chinese President Xi Jinping began an official visit today in Russia, during which he will meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, as announced on Chinese public television. This is the first visit of the Chinese president in Russia since the beginning of the war in Ukraine and the first visit to Moscow in almost four years.
