The Russian army received a new batch of 152-mm Msta-S self-propelled artillery mounts that have been repaired and modernized.
This was stated by a representative of the Rostec state corporation and explained that, as a result of its modernization, the Msta-S gun was equipped with an automatic control and fire guidance system, which led to an increase in firing accuracy. fire and rate of fire up to 10 rounds per minute.
In addition, the gun is capable of operating in a fire guidance system, i.e. hits the target with 5 projectiles at a time, and then immediately changes position. Improved comfort conditions for the camper crew.
It is noteworthy that the Mesta-S guns were actively used in the military operation of Ukraine, where they showed their effectiveness.
It is noteworthy that the Mesta-S guns entered service with the Russian Ground Forces in 1989 and are designed to destroy mortar batteries, tanks, armored vehicles, air defense systems, command posts and manpower.
The gun has a firing range of 29 km and is equipped with various types of ammunition, including high-precision ones.
