Russian Daniil Medvedev wins the US Open title

World runner-up Russian player Daniil Medvedev crowned the men’s tennis title of the US Open, the last Grand Slam, after defeating Serbian, first-seeded Novak Djokovic, in three set free today.

In the final of the tournament, which was held in the Flushing Meadows stadiums, Daniel Medvedev managed to overthrow the first seed and beat him 6/4, 6/4, 6/4.

The title is the first for the Russian player in Grand Slam tournaments, and today he played his third final, after losing the 2019 US Open final to Spanish Nadal, and losing the Australian Open final at the start of questyear against Djokovic in particular.
