Russian military observer: " Armata" This is a new generation tank designed for central network warfare.

Military analyst Viktor Baranets said that the T-14 tank, built on the Armata multi-tasking platform, can exchange information and data with other battle tanks.

He said this in an interview with the Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda.

The military analyst explained that the Armata tank will not behave like a conventional tank on the battlefield, but will act as a tank for a central network war. It can monitor the combat situation on the battlefield and provide information on targets to be destroyed, primarily on the T-90 and T-72 tanks.

He said: “We are not getting an iron fighter with some technical and tactical characteristics. Rather, we get a commander’s tank.”

The military analyst pointed out that the Armata tank has dynamic defense devices capable of withstanding the attack of US-made Javelin missiles, which are widely used by the Kyiv army against Russian tanks.

It is noteworthy that video clips were recently published on the Internet, which depicted combat coordination operations between the crews of T-14 Armata tanks in the area of a special military operation.

And then the military analyst said that the promising new-generation Russian tank “Armata” should surprise the Ukrainian army with its firepower and ability to withstand combat.

The tank was equipped with a 1300 or 1500 horsepower engine. It is armed with a 125mm cannon, which can be replaced with a 152mm cannon, and a guided missile can be fired from this cannon. This tank has a high degree of protection.

The tank has unprecedented structures, including an uninhabited turret, and its armor is capable of repelling any anti-tank missile. It is equipped with active and dynamic protection systems, and also has remote-controlled weapons with a powerful gun and an automatic reload system.

It is worth noting that the number of the latest T-14 (“Armata”) tanks in the Russian army varies, according to various sources, from 24 to 132 tanks.
