Russian official: Our mission in Ukraine will take 5-10 years

Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Civil Society Development Vladimir Shamanov predicts that the time it takes for the Russian military to disarm Ukraine could take 5-10 years, stressing that no one has the right to interfere in the affairs of the army and speed up their operations.
He added: “It is clear that there is a desire to completely solve the Donbass problem, and the capabilities available allow it, and there is no need to speed up (of the process) in the near future.”
