San Paolo renounces Dani Alves

Brazilian international Dani Alves, the most successful player in football history, will leave the San Paolo team, as announced by questlast, after a material dispute between the two parties.

“We make the decision and inform (Argentine coach) Hernan Crespo not to put Daniel Alves at the disposal of the Sao Paulo team. Sao Paulo is more important than anyone else,” said San Paolo sporting director Carlos Belmonte. in a video published by club on his Twitter account.

Alves, 38, the former Barcelona player, should have been present in his team’s training in Sao Paulo after his participation with his country in the South American qualifiers for the “Qatar 2022” World Cup, but Belmonte has said the representatives of the player explained to the management of the club that the right back will not return to training until the club he will not pay his debts.

“Sao Paulo acknowledges the debt and last week we presented a proposal to try to reach an agreement, which Alves’ representatives did not accept. Negotiations will continue on the legal and financial aspects,” Belmonte said.

The relationship between the seven-time champion of Brazil and Alves was strained when questlast decided to participate in the Tokyo Olympics questsummer, where he won his 43rd title in career.

Alves, who has twice won the Champions League with Barcelona (2011 and 2015), signed a contract with San Paolo in 2019 until 2022.
