Saudi Arabia issues 415 million local sukuk riyals in two tranches

Saudi Arabia’s National Debt Management Center announced Tuesday that the kingdom issued 415 million riyals ($ 110.55 million) of local sukuk in December.

He added in a statement that the issue has been split in two tranches, the first of which equal to 200. One million riyals for the sukuk in expiration in 2029.

The second tranche amounted to 215 million riyals for the sukuk in expiration in 2031.

The size of the local sukuk issue in November was 614.179 million riyals, including a tranche representing the total value of the sukuk issue. in expiration in 2033.

The two issues are part of the annual debt plan for the year 2021 announced by the center at the beginning of the fiscal year on its website, through which it reviews its local issuance program in to match international market business days for issue announcements and settlement dates.
