Saudi camels dominate the crown prince’s sword prize

Saudi camels continue to dominate in the Crown Prince’s Sword Points Award, taking the top four places at the Crown Prince Camel Festival 3, currently held in historic Taif Square.

Atef bin Attia Al-Qurashi took first place with 44 points, Amer bin Rashid Al-Braisi Al-Marri finished second with 36 points, third Abdulaziz bin Mualla Al-Sahli with 33 points, fourth Fahd Ali Al-Hajri with 12 points, and in fifth place Salem Saeed Al-Ketbi from the United Arab Emirates with 11 points, and Muzaffar Muhammad Al-Amri from the United Arab Emirates with 9 points, seventh from Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Wahaibi from Oman with 6 points, and all eighth place Hamad Jarallah Al -Baridi with 3 points.

For its part, the organizing committee of the Crown Prince Camel Festival revealed that the points calculation mechanism is carried out according to specific criteria, in where the first winner of the heats (the main symbols) gets five points, while the second winner gets 3 points and the third winner gets two points To calculate the points in the rest of the round (preliminary – final), the first place winner gets 3 points, as the most points in the Crown Prince Award will receive a sword and a prize of one million riyals.
