“Saudi Ceramic” intends to establish a new factory at a cost of 249 million riyals

The Saudi Ceramic Company said today, Thursday, that in order to implement the company’s strategy and expansion plans, the company’s board of directors approved by approving the establishment of a new porcelain tile manufacturing plant with the latest international technologies, with a production capacity of 8.25 million square meters per year.

Saudi Ceramics added, in a statement on “Saudi Tadawul” that the cost of the project is 249.3 million riyals, financed through loans and self-financing.

He explained that construction on the project will begin in the fourth quarter of 2021 and will end in the second quarter of 2023.

It was expected that the project would have a positive impact on the company’s revenues and that the project’s expected impact on the company’s results would begin after commercial operations commence in the second quarter of 2023.

The company indicated that the project’s expected trial production start date is the end of the first quarter of 2023, for one month before commercial production begins.

He said the project is being implemented by a group of manufacturers and suppliers inside and outside the Kingdom.
