Saudi “Human Resources” decides to locate 11 businesses in this region

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, has decided to locate 11 activities in the Al-Baha region as part of the regional settlement program implemented in the region in collaboration with the Emirate of Al-Baha region as part of the Ministry’s plans to provide more stimulating and productive job opportunities for the country’s sons and daughters and increase their participation rate in the labor market.

According to a statement from the ministry, the decision included the establishment of outlets selling ready-made clothes, home furniture, household utensils, carpets of all kinds, books, office tools, toys, bicycles and appliances.

It also includes outlets that sell plastics, soap and detergents, water and beverages, fruits, vegetables, dates, gifts and crafts at a rate of 100%, with the exception of the excluded professions, which are the cleaning, loading and unloading and drivers.

The decision also included locating the coffee business of 50% and the restaurant business of 40%.

The decision will enter in into force on January 14, 2022, and the ministry has issued a procedural guide explaining the details of the decision and the mechanisms necessary for its implementation to ensure business engagement. The ministry will also provide incentive packages and support related to business support from private sector in hiring Saudis.
