Saudi Human Resources seized 79,000 violations during 2020

The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development revealed a comprehensive statistics on the inspection visits carried out by its field inspection teams during the year 2020, in addition to a detailed report on the service of assessing the facilities’ compliance with the preventive procedures and protocols followed to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.

The report showed that the number of field visits carried out 843,419 visits resulted in the seizure of 78,738 violations, while it received, through all means of communication with it, 79080 incoming reports.

With regard to the assessment of the facilities’ compliance with the preventive procedures and protocols followed to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, the report revealed a compliance rate of 98.4% out of 970 establishments that applied for the service.

The ministry called on the owners of the facilities to adhere to the decisions and legislation issued by the ministry to regulate and control the labor market, stressing the need to apply precautionary measures and preventive measures at work places to limit the spread of the Corona virus and to preserve the safety of workers and auditors.

She explained that her surprise inspection tours are continuing in all regions of the Kingdom and throughout the year, calling at the same time all citizens and residents to report any violation they detect through the “together monitoring” application.
