Saudi “integrity” arrests 250 people in criminal and administrative proceedings

The Control and Anti-Corruption Authority in Saudi Arabia, “Nazaha”, revealed today, Sunday, that it had initiated a series of criminal and administrative proceedings during the month of Rabi ‘al-Thani 1443 AH.

The authority stated, in a tweet on their Twitter account, which is investigating 657 people and the number of inmates has reached 250.

Authority conducted 6,459 round monitoring during the month of Rabi ‘al-Thani 1443 AH.

He added that this included the ministries of defense, interior, health, justice, education, municipal and rural affairs, and housing.

The most important financial and administrative corruption offenses were extortion, abuse of power and abuse of authority, as well as counterfeiting.
