Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khoraef said the kingdom has mineral wealth of 5 trillion rials, equivalent to $1.3 trillion.
In an interview with CNBC, Bandar Al-Khoraef explained that “the amount of minerals in the Kingdom is estimated at about 5 trillion rials”, noting that “investment in the mining sector requires long periods.”
Al-Khoraef indicated that the SAS initiative was launched to provide $2.7 trillion.
