Saudi non-oil exports increased by 17.9% and oil by 112% in July

Saudi goods exports recorded a 79.6% increase in July 2021, compared to July 2020, when international trade was hit by the travel ban and ban due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to data from the Saudi General Authority for Statistics, today, Wednesday, the value of Saudi goods exports amounted to 91.8 billion riyals in July 2021, compared to 51.1 billion riyals in July 2020.

The authority attributed the increase to the increase in oil exports of 37.5 billion riyals, or 112.1%, to about 71 billion riyals.

Exports of goods increased by 8.2% compared to June 2021, with a value of 7 billion riyals.

And non-oil exports recorded a 17.9% increase in July 2021, to 20.8 billion riyals, up from 17.6 billion riyals in July 2020.

Subjects prime most important were plastics, rubber and their products, which account for 37.6% of total non-oil exports, and increased by 47.7% to 2.5 billion riyals.

Imports increased in July 2021, by 13.2%, by 5.3 billion riyals, to reach 45.6 billion riyals, compared to 40.3 billion riyals in July 2020.
