Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will be open to boxing against UFC star Jorge Masvidal in a crossover overtime.
The four-time Canelo world champion was called by Masvidal after “Gamebred” defeated Nate Diaz at UFC 244 in early November.

Following the initial rejection of the appeal, Canelo was more open to the proposal when he presented the idea to TMZ.
Why not, “he responded when asked about fighting Masvidal, who saw his stock rise in the MMA circles following remarkable wins over Darren Till, Ben Askren and Diaz in 2019.
Pressed on whether this might be his next fight, Canelo simply replied, “We’ll see, we’ll see.”

Alvarez, who managed to beat Sergei Kovalev on the same night as Matwittal to defeat Diaz, also reiterated his desire for revenge with Floyd Mayweather Jr. The Mexican was comfortably defeated by a majority decision – with one judge contesting the tie – in September 2013.
Canelo is sure of a different outcome if the two get mixed up again, though the 29-year-old doubts the fight will take place.
“It’s a race I would definitely like. It’s a different time now, I was very young and inexperienced at the time,” Alvarez added. “I’m a different fighter, it would be a completely different outcome, but I don’t think that will happen.”
