Sebastine Ikahihifo returns to Huddersfield after two years on loan with Salford

Sebastine Ikahihifo returns to the Huddersfield Giants after two seasons on loan with Super League rival Salford.

The former Super League Dream Team in the front row forward 28 . played times for the Red Devils in his spell, some of die trips come when now Giants coach Ian Watson was in to upload.

Ikahihifo said: “It feels good to be back, I still live here and it is good to be home. I’m watching forward working with Ian Watson again – He is one of the smartest coaches die I have worked with and he uses me very well. I have some good memories with Ian Watson and Greg Brown.

“L know what to expect from Greg Brown too, a lot of muscular endurance that is good for me, it will make me fit. The training in Salford was excellent and they are both great trainers and i’m looking forward working with them again.

“Hopefully I can get a good time here: we have a good team, An good coach and i feel real good as regards next season.

Watson added: “L like everything over Sebastine: his carries, his work on the ball and off the ball, the work in defense – so he touches a lot of Boxes for me.

“He was one of the best front rowers in the competition a few years ago and we felt like we were getting him back to his best at Salford and he has been close to best this season. He’s a great add on.”
