See The new Nokia G50 phone supports 5G technology

HMD Global continues to pump Nokia Android phones at affordable prices and the company has announced a new high-end phone media in arrival in the United States e in numerous global markets.

The new G50 costs $ 299 and is the company’s cheapest 5G phone to date. The device has all the ingredients to be in able to compete as a top-end phone media, including a 6.82-inch HD screen, large battery, audio port, and 18W fast charger.

The new G-series phone is similar to the Nokia X20 announced in April 2021. But the G50 has a larger screen and battery and is available in a version designed specifically for the North American market.

Like other 5G phones in the $ 300 range, the Nokia G50 is powered by the Snapdragon 480 chipset. So don’t expect the fastest performance or smoother gaming experience on this phone.

It has 4/6 GB of RAM and 128/64 GB of storage plus a microSD slot just in case in you need to back up your photos or upload an app.

Compared to the Motorola phone of the same name G50, Nokia has a slightly larger 6.82-inch HD + screen in capable of delivering 450 nits of brightness and has a V-shaped notch around the 8-megapixel front camera.

On the back of the Nokia G50 is a series of three cameras arranged in circle. 48MP primary lens, 5MP ultra wide angle lens and 2MP depth sensor.

The front camera also offers video stabilization to help sharpen blurry TikTok videos and Night Selfie mode to brighten your selfies in low light conditions.

According to HMD Global, the Nokia phone maker, the Nokia G50 comes with Android 11 and receives two years of operating system updates (including Android 12 and Android 13) and three years of monthly security updates.

In other words, this budget phone won’t transform in a forgotten piece in a few years, which is good for the environment and for consumers who want to get more out of their phones before the upgrade.

And because it’s a bulky phone, the battery is also large, has a capacity of 5,000mAh and should last up to two days between charges. There’s also USB-C, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dedicated Google Assistant button.

The Nokia G50 comes preloaded with Spotify and a 30-day trial version of ExpressVPN. It’s available in Ocean Blue or Midnight Sun. It is currently available for pre-order via the company’s website and will ship on September 30th.
