Sheikh Tamim Honors 10th Batch of Al Zaeem Air College Graduates at Ceremony

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the fraternal state of Qatar, sponsored the graduation ceremony of the tenth batch of candidate students of the Al Zaeem Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College, at the college’s premises at the Al Udeid, this morning. The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Prime Minister, the Interior Minister, a number of their excellencies sheikhs and ministers, and a number of leaders of security, military and university colleges, institutes and academies of a number of fraternal and friendly countries. The ceremony was also attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of the Interior, the Emirates Guard and the State Security Agency, as well as Their Excellencies the heads of diplomatic missions in the country, and the parents of the graduates.

The national anthem was played at the beginning of the ceremony, followed by the leader’s request to His Highness Emir Al-Moufdi to inspect the line of 124 graduates from the State of Qatar and some fraternal and friendly countries. After reciting verses from the Holy Quran and showing the route of the graduate parade and military parade, His Highness the Emir honored the first thirteen graduate students, in so that the flag was received and delivered from the tenth to the eleventh batch, and the nomination order was read, and the queue of the parade departed.

The air show kicked off with a variety of Qatari Emiri Air Force aircraft, including Rafale, Typhoon and F15 aircraft, C-130 and C-17 transport aircraft, and Agusta 139 helicopters. A group of training aircraft belonging to Al Zaeem Mohammed bin Abdullah College also participated in the show, Attiyah is kind pc 21, Super Mushshacks and NH90 helicopters. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the officers of the 10th batch were sworn in and sang the national anthem.
