According to it studio Consumer Reports Reliability Annual, the World’s Most Valuable Automobile Company “makes among the least reliable vehicles on the road.”

The manufacturer of auto Tesla Electric, which now has a market value of over $ 1 trillion, came in at number 27 of 28 car brands studied questyear by Consumer Reports, a non-profit organization. Lincoln was the only brand with a lower trust score than Tesla.

Consumer Reports uses surveys to find out what types of problems owners of auto in the last 12 months. This data is used to predict the reliability of 2022 models for automakers by assigning a score to each car.

Tesla’s S, Y, and X models have reliability scores below the media, lowering the overall position of the brand. Consumer Reports still recommends the 2022 Tesla Model 3 sedan, which has reliability media.

Top of the list are Lexus, Mazda, Toyota, Infiniti, Buick, Honda and Subaru. In the last five, with the exception of Tesla and Lincoln, we find Volkswagen, Genesis and Jeep.

The most reliable models for 2022 are: Lexus GX, Kia Niro EV, Toyota Prius Prime, Toyota Prius and Cadillac XT5.

Electric vehicles were present in the studio Consumer Reports and Kia Niro EV, Nissan Leaf and Ford Mustang Mach-E all scored higher than the media. The auto compact hybrids were the most reliable.

The all-electric SUV was the worst, scoring below the overall media. Tesla Model X and Audi E-Tron are classified in bottom of that list. The problems are usually not related to the motors or the battery, but rather to components such as the microelectronics inside theautoBusiness Insider explained.

Tesla’s quality issues have been well documented over the years, as the company, sometimes perhaps too quickly, has entered in a race to accelerate production and deliver more vehicles. And it’s common for models, even well-chosen ones, to come with the kinds of flaws that German luxury brands like Audi and BMW spent decades before getting rid of.

But the flaws don’t seem to discourage buyers or make them love their Tesla less. On the contrary, Tesla ranks first in the studio Consumer Reports on Owner Satisfaction.
