Sisi calls for the formulation of a clear African strategy to eliminate terrorism

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi called for the formulation of a clear African strategy to eliminate the threat of extremism and terrorism and drain its sources of funding.

This took place during a speech delivered today by Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, on behalf of President Sisi, via video communication technology, at the meeting of the enlarged body of the African Union Summit Office, held under the presidency of the President of the African Union Democratic Republic of Congo and current President of the African Union Felix Tshisekedi, to discuss some issues of the African continent.

In his speech, the Egyptian president passed in reviews his country’s position on a number of issues pace and security on the African continent, underlining Egypt’s effort to provide assistance to the countries of the continent, by intensifying the training courses offered to its cadres in the field of combating terrorism and participation in missions to maintain the pace of the United Nations.

He stressed that Egypt will spare no effort to work with its African brothers, in a way that contributes to overcoming the challenges facing the continent and returning at a constant pace towards achieving the goals and aspirations of the peoples.
