Sisi: the budget of Egypt is sufficient for only 10% of the required expenditure

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi revealed that all the money available in the Egyptian budget is 10% of the amount needed to spend properly in a country like Egypt, as the country needs a trillion dollars, while that is not available.

In statements on the sidelines of the World Youth Forum, he explained that the Egyptian labor market is increasing by one million people a year. President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi gave an example of one of the views he received on the need to provide jobs for every Egyptian, an opinion that the president found logical, but at the same time stressed that the labor market in Egypt increases by 800,000 to 1 million people every year.

Al-Sisi continued: “When it is said that the state lacks the rights of its people and does not offer job opportunities in presence of unemployment in Egypt, the truth is incomplete, as the discussion must be completed by observing that the state must provide employment opportunities of 800,000 to one million every year, and here the question arises: which country can provide these opportunities, even in the developed world?

The president stressed that one of the views is that poverty rates in Egypt are high, which is true, but looking at that the state has 100 million citizens and, in light of limited resources, how can the state maximize the resources that allow it to make good per capita income?

The Egyptian president said he had discussed these topics even at the time of his candidacy, stressing that this challenge is huge and the existing issues are very large, adding that all the money available in the Egyptian budget is equal to 10% of what is needed to spend. adequately in a country like Egypt, as the country needs a trillion dollars, even if it’s not available.

President Sisi stressed that, given the countries that have a population density close to Egypt, those who claim to spend in properly spends a trillion dollars.

Comparing Egypt with rich European countries that have had stable population growth for 40 or 50 years, such as Germany and France, whose population has not increased in the last 30 or 40 years, the President asked: “These countries had need to strengthen their health or education system, its development or improvement in it?, .. having possessed a good health infrastructure in can provide excellent medical service, and all that is required is to strengthen and develop this service to give more prosperity to its people. “
